ONTHEREDCARPET.COM – Some of the year’s most successful music acts — including Katy Perry, Lorde and Robin Thicke — have been announced as performers at the 56th annual Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy also said in a statement to OTRC.com that in addition, two-time Grammy winner and actor LL Cool J will return as the host of the awards ceremony, airing on CBS on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at 8 p.m. ET (check local listings). The rapper has hosted the show since 2012.

3. Katy Perry — It was announced on Jan. 7 that Perry was added to the growing list of Grammy night performers. The singer is nominated for two awards, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her No. 1 hit single “Roar.” Perry released her third studio album, “Prism,” in October 2013, which also features the songs “Unconditionally” and “Dark Horse” featuring Juicy J.
