Katy Perry attended the 2012 Grammy Nominations Concert in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday night (November 30). Katy, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana lace pink strapless gown, presented this year’s esteemed Grammy Album of the Year contenders.

The 2012 Grammy Awards will take place on February 12th, 2012.

Katy Perry has designed an elephant sculpture which she plans to auction off for charity.

The Firework singer has teamed up with artist Erin Lareau to create a stripy, sparkle-encrusted creature in an effort to raise money for the Elephant Parade fundraiser for Asian elephant conservation.

Having decided to call her masterpiece Dumbina, Katy said that it features echoes of her colour-laden world tour.

‘My elephant was inspired by my California Dreams Tour and Candyfornia – a magical, glittering place where everything is sweet,’ she told the Daily Star. ‘The crystals that adorn the elephant are precious, just like the Asian elephants that need our protection. Let’s raise awareness!’

The elephant will go under the hammer in Milan, Italy.

Katy Perry attended the 2011 American Music Awards last night (November 20) held at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.

Katy wore three different looks: aVivienne Westwood gown on the red carpet, a custom Johnny Wujek design while she performed her new single “The One That Got Away” on stage and a black shear dress with pink crystal by Furne One later in the show.

Katy won a special award for being the first female artist to have five number one singles from the same album.
