Katy Perry Hosts GiveLove Charity Event in Las Vegas

Making her first official public appearance since parting ways with ex-husband Russell Brand, Katy Perry played host at the 1 Oak At The Mirage grand opening in Las Vegas on Friday night (January 27).

The newly-single “The One That Got Away” singer rocked a colorful blue coif as she was was joined at the soiree by J. Molinari jewelry designers Markus Molinari and Jason Arasheben, as well as hotel heiress sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton.

Acting as a charity fundraiser for GiveLove.org, proceeds from the event benefit the foundation’s efforts “to provide temporary housing solutions and sanitation systems in earthquake-stricken Haiti.”

Of getting Katy to front the Sin City celebration, Eli Pacino, managing partner of 1 Oak, said,

“Markus Molinari & Katy Perry are best friends, coming together to bring awareness to an amazing cause GiveLove.org.”
